Immanuel Lutheran School

Immanuel Lutheran School, established in 1989, is a Catholic coeducational institution that serves more than 300 students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The school is accredited by National Lutheran Schools Accreditation. Its curriculum includes English, science, math, music, Spanish, computer applications, language and fine arts, religious and social studies, and health and physical education. It also provides afternoon preschool classes for children up to the age of 4. Immanuel Lutheran School organizes a variety of events, including Christmas celebrations, band concerts, theatrical presentations, field trips, guest speakers, musical and talent shows, and spelling and geography bee competitions. The school features a gymnasium, library, cafeteria, playground, classrooms, and science and art laboratories. It conducts golf, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, and track and field activities. Immanuel Lutheran School is located in Batavia, Ill., and is a part of Immanuel Lutheran Church and School.
