Anixter

Anixter, founded in 1957, is one of the world's largest distributors of communication products and electrical wire and cable. It also distributes fasteners and small parts, such as C-class inventory components, to original equipment manufacturers. The company offers supply chain services, an inventory of more than 325,000 products and a logistics network of 200 warehouses. Anixter stocks more than 275,000 cables, connectors, cabinets, cameras, DVRs, tools, test equipment and fasteners for the retail, financial, education, health care, government, contractor and manufacturing markets. The company has headquarters in Glenview, Ill., and locations throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
