Franklin County Medical Center

Franklin County Medical Center, located in Preston, Idaho, is a nonprofit facility that offers health care services for the residents of Franklin County and surrounding areas in Idaho. The medical center consists of a more than 20-bed hospital and an attached over 45-bed transitional care unit. The hospital offers a range of services, such as ambulance service; anesthesiology; community awareness; coronary and intensive care unit; diagnostic imaging; electro cardiology; emergency department; home health; laboratory; and nursing services. Additionally, it provides, nutritional services; obstetrics and gynecology; outreach classes; physical therapy; transitional care facility; social services; surgery; and a medical specialists clinic. The hospital is directed by a governing board of trustees appointed by the Franklin County Commissioners.
