BAT Associates is a full-service company, specializing in environmental and ecological services. Established in 1989, BAT employs more than 40 engineers, scientists and technical specialists. Headquartered in Atlanta, the company also has branch offices in Norcross, Ga., Cleveland, Oak Ridge and Clarksville, Tenn., and Aiken, S.C., and certified by the United States Small Business Administration. It offers a wide variety of services, such as environmental site assessments and investigations, regulatory compliance, National Environmental and Planning Agency support services, soil and groundwater remediation and stormwater management. BAT also offers response planning, drinking water protection, process safety management, indoor air quality, lead-and asbestos containing materials, fire safety, ergonomics, laboratory safety, energy conservation design and surveys.
