ChemFree Corporation was founded in 1993 and is a majority-owned subsidiary of Intelligent Systems Corporation. The company works to develop and market safe, effective parts cleaning systems that reduce the release of VOCs and eliminates the generation of liquid hazardous wastes for automotive, industrial, government and commercial users. Its principle product is the SmartWasher, the first complete parts washing system that is cost-effective and environmentally safe. The patented SmartWasher is a specially-balanced system that combines a powerful, aqueous-based cleaning solution with specialized OzzyMats to harness the process of bioremediation. In addition, the company serves a diverse client base, including Coca-Cola Enterprises, Lockheed Martin, NAPA Auto Parts, Circuit City, Federal Express and Delta.
