Yellow Cab

Yellow Cab of Pensacola traces its roots back to 1902 and a company called Tucker Transportation that provided horse-drawn carriages for passengers arriving at the Port of Pensacola. Tucker Transportation began offering taxi service to Pensacola in 1925. At that time, Yellow Cab was a competitor, but the companies merged years later in 1975. The new company s goal was to be the premier cab service in northwest Florida, serving a number of communities in Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties. The company provides 24-hour service in Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key, Fort Walton Beach and Destin, Fla.
