The Resource Management Agency was founded by the merger of Planning and Development and Public Works departments and Community Development, and Redevelopment and Capital Projects divisions. Operational for more than 10 years, RMA looks after the economic development, and offers various general services. The agency provides public health and safety services, transportation, flood control, refuse disposal, leased facilities, and internal support services. Its development services branch offers a wide range of services, such as application and enforcement of plans and policies, and federal, state and local regulations and issuance of ministerial building, administrative-level and discretionary land use planning permits. Located in Visalia, Calif., its print services include single, full-color, envelope and wide-format printing, perforating, presentation folders, book printing and page numbering, two- and three-hole drilling, custom paper catalogs and artwork preparation, and wraparound cover booklet capabilities.
