Gino Morena began Gino Morena Enterprises in 1950. It operates more than 450 barbershops and 150 beauty salons on United States military installations in the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Guam. The company is contracted with the Army and Air Force exchange service, NEXCOM exchange service and the Marine Corps community services. All locations provide services to active military, dependents and retired military customers only, and are staffed 100 percent by civilians. The company provides services to nearly two million customers annually. It also sells professional retail hair care products through its beauty salons.
