Rancho Simi Recreation & Park

Formed in 1961, Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District is a separate government agency from the City of Simi Valley. It has established 50 parks and preserved over 5,600 acres of open space that is used for hiking, biking, horseback riding and wildlife preservation. Additionally, the park provides two equestrian centers, two swimming pools, two golf courses and various sports and other recreation amenities. Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District offers hundreds of diverse recreation programs and large community events such as concerts, arts and crafts fairs and outdoor movies.
