Oakland Youth Chorus

Founded in 1974, Oakland Youth Chorus is a nonprofit organization that conducts multicultural music education and performance programs for the youth. The organization provides chorus programs for more than 1,000 children and youth each year in schools as well as community sites. Oakland Youth Chorus imparts education on music of several cultures. The organization s teaching staff has experience in performing around the world. It offers knowledge on different music genres of Latin America, African Diaspora, Europe and North America.
