Sky Country Elementary

Opened in 1984, Sky Country Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade six. It operates several academic departments, such as language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally offers classes in art, music and physical education. Sky Country Elementary School also offers the English Language Learners program. Its staff is comprised of social workers, psychologists, and speech and language pathologists. The school employs counselors who provide guidance and support services to students, teachers and parents. In addition, Sky Country Elementary School offers Title I and Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) programs, as well as gifted and talented education. It is located in Mira Loma, Calif., and is a part of the Jurupa Unified School District.
