Long Beach Container Terminal

Established in 1986, Long Beach Container Terminal Inc. is one of the leaders in container handling in the world. It currently comprises of 105 acres and eight structures. The terminal is located adjacent to a deep-water turning basin on Pier F (formerly known as Pier A), Berths 6 through 10 features 2,700 feet of berth line with a minimum 55-foot water depth alongside the dock. In 1990, Long Beach Container Terminal Inc. built an on-dock rail system to expedite the movement of intermodal containers directly from the terminal to points east.
