Willows Community School

The Willows Community School provides programs related to sciences, technology, humanities, arts and athletics. Founded in 1994, the school includes lower and middle schools and serves students in prekindergarten through grade eight. Located in Culver City, Calif., it offers classes in history, Latin, language arts, science, mathematics and life skills. The school s curriculum additionally includes flash animation, photography, cinematography and creative writing. It also offers classes in music and visual and performing arts. The school s sports activities include flag football, basketball, soccer, golf and volleyball. The Willows Community School is accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It is also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools and the Independent School Alliance for Minority Affairs.
