Established in 1987, APPA Seafood farms and processes grilled and flavored salmon that is available to retailers in bulk-pack, random-weight, fixed-weight, rigid film, flexible film, modified-atmosphere and vacuum packaging. The company offers such flavors as chili and lime, lemon pepper, parmesan, Southwestern and citrus. The company s location occupies 30,000 square feet and employs more than 60 people. Its smoked salmon products comprise more than 200 items available from retailers such as Trader Joe s, Whole Foods, Albertson s, Wal-Mart, Sam s Club and Costco. In addition, the company has a United States Dairy Association packaging facility and a value-added grilled chicken plant. APPA Seafood is headquartered in Corona, Calif.
