Silverwood Elementary

Located in Concord, Calif., Silverwood Elementary School is an educational institution that conducts classes in math, music, language arts and physical education for more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade five. It provides several academic and extracurricular programs, as well as conducts a variety of recreational, social and educational activities. Silverwood Elementary School offers instruction in English, science, social studies and art. It also provides specially designed educational programs for English-language learners and gifted and talented students. Its staff includes an academic counselor, librarian, psychologist, social worker, nurse, resource specialist, and speech and language specialist. Silverwood Elementary School is a part of the Mount Diablo Unified School District, which governs elementary, middle and high schools.
