El Monte Elementary

El Monte Elementary is an educational institution that is located in Concord, Calif. Established in 1955, the school enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five. It provides general academic, gifted and talented and special education programs. The school conducts English Language Learners and speech, occupational and physical therapy classes. El Monte Elementary also supports programs in physical education and vocal and instrumental music. The school operates a student council and offers various sports activities. It has a parent-teacher association that supports academic and enrichment programs. The school publishes a monthly newsletter and organizes book fairs. In addition, it offers before- and after-school child care. El Monte Elementary is governed by the Mt. Diablo Unified School District.
