Legal Document Assistant

The legal system is very complex, rule driven and expensive. The need for qualified non-attorneys to assist the public with common legal matters has risen steadily in the past few years and in January of 2000, a California law known as SB1418 took effect allowing Legal Document Assistants to assist self-representing individuals prepare for court.
