Founded in 1946, Cato is a provider of women's apparel and accessories in the United States. Based in Magnolia, Ark., it specializes in offering shoes, accessories, lingerie, bath and body products, sportswear, necklaces, dresses and home decor products, to name a few. The firm is a division of The Cato Corporation, which is one of the leading specialty retailers of women's fashion apparel and accessories. It operates approximately 1,300 women's apparel specialty stores in 31 states.
