Sylacauga Utilities Office

The Sylacauga Utilities Board works to serve more than 12,000 to provide electrical, natural gas and waste water services. It owns, maintains and operates a water system that is comprised of wells, water supply reservoirs, conventional surface water treatment plants, water booster pumping stations and water storage tanks. The board maintains various electric transmission and distribution facilities and serves in an area of over 15 square miles. The Sylacauga Utilities Board operates a telecommunication department that offers access to high-speed communication services. Located in Sylacauga, Ala., it is comprised of nearly 65 personnel.
