Sonic Drive-In

SONIC Drive-In, also known as SONIC, is a chain of fast food restaurants that opened its first outlet in Shawnee, Okla., in 1953. It operates more than 3,000 drive-in restaurants throughout the United States and also offers carhop services and made-to-order meals. SONIC features a variety of signature menu items that include TOASTER sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers and hand-battered onion rings. The restaurant chain offers more than 168,000 drink and beverage combinations, as well as specialty desserts that include cherry limeades and cream pie shakes. Additionally, it offers SONIC's Wacky Pack, toys, grilled cheese sandwiches and chicken strips for children.
