Miles College

Established in 1905, Miles College provides educational opportunities to more than 1,700 students. It offers over 20 bachelor's degree programs in business, accounting, communications, humanities, natural sciences, mathematics, and social and behavioral sciences. The college also provides advanced courses in corporate finance, business statistics, international studies, African history, behavioral economics, general psychology, algebra and calculus. Miles College s sports activities include football, basketball, volleyball and softball. It additionally offers foreign language classes in Spanish and French, as well as evening and weekend courses for working students. The college supports cheerleading, photography, music and carrier clubs. In addition, it operates a learning center that features a library, staff and faculty lounge, board room, computer laboratory and classrooms. Located in Fairfield, Ala., Miles College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Council of Social Work Education and Alabama State Department of Education
